Air Force Company Grade Officer's Council:

The Air Force Company Grade Officer's Council (CGOC) is an alliance of US Air Force Company Grade Officers (CGOs - Lieutenants and Captains).

AF CGOC was established:

• To promote the development of CGOs throughout the Air Force CGO regional structure.
• To develop and maintain an informational network to enhance professional development, community service and camaraderie throughout all CGOCs Air Force-wide.
• To provide a communication structure to deliver the pulse of the CGOs representative by the regional CGOCs to the Air Force Senior Management at the Air Staff.

Edwards CGOC:

We are located at Edwards AFB, home of the Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), just 2 hours north of Los Angeles in sunny Southern California.  In the middle of the Mojave Desert, you will see many peculiar things such as the desert tortoise, coyotes, jackrabbits, and rattlesnakes.

One of our biggest traditions as well as the CGOCs greatest event of the year is the Pancho Barnes Party!  Unfortunately as of 2009, leadership NIXED the funfest that was Pancho Barnes...  To reminisce you will simply have to look at the pix from 2008...
